The Holy Alphabets

Although things are not perfect

Because of trial or pain

Continue in thanksgiving

Do not begin to blame

Even when the times are hard

Fierce winds are bound to blow

God is forever able

Hold on to what you know

Imagine life without His love

Joy would cease to be

Keep thanking Him for all the things

Love imparts to thee

Move out of "Camp Complaining"

No weapon that is known

On earth can yield the power

Praise can do alone

Quit looking at the past

Redeem the time at hand

Start every day with worship

Thanksgiving is a command

Until we see Him coming

Victorious in the sky

We'll run the race with gratitude

X alting God most high

Yes, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but...

Zion waits in glory....where none is ever sad

Healing Service update from Ps. Elijah

Last August we had a Healing Service with Pastor Elijah Kang. It was a hands on training for our members to pray for the sick. Pastor Kang led the leaders to pray and lay their hands on the sick exercising their faith in God to use them as a channel of His healing. It was a wonderful evening of God's presence and healing. To God be the Glory!

You shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed in His name.....

The Shadow of the Cross

The shadow of the Cross

I take, O cross, thy shadow

For my abiding place;

I ask no other sunshine than

The sunshine of His face,

Content to let the world go by,

To know no gain or loss,

My sinful self my only shame

My glory is the cross.

Upon that cross of Jesus

My eyes at times can see

The very dying form of One

Who suffered there for me:

And from my smitten heart, with tears,

To wonders I confess

The wonders of His glorious love

And my unworthiness.

Be-neath the cross of Je-sus,

I fain would take my stand,

In the Shad-ow of a might-y Rock

With-in His safety band

Someday I 'll met my Jesus

And see His nail pierced hands

With arms extended wide He'll say

Welcome home my friend.

Observing Passion Week

Passion week or also known as the Holy week commemorates the events of our Lord's last week before his Death where he was brutally beaten ,abused, scoffed and suffered on the cross to atone for the sins of the world.

Our Church would like to encourage every member to take this time to observe a time of fasting and praying to reflect and remember our Lord's suffering for our sake. We encourage you to fast a meal , or to abstain from meat during this week.

Fasting helps us realize our emptiness and dependence, to seek the One who alone satisfies our needs, fills our hunger and our thirst for righteousness. When we fast we are nurturing our interior disposition to listen to Christ and be fed by His saving word.

Youth Camp Report by the President

The Youth Ministry just had our 5th bi-annual youth camp. The entire camp wasn't just about fun or the fellowship only, but we hoped to see lives touched and saved. And we praise God for the 2 lives that were saved and 3 lives that were rededicated to the Lord! The process of putting together an event is never a piece of cake. As for this camp, the organizing committee faced much challenges and hardship. This camp speaks so much of the grace of God and it's a testimony of how great our God is. Truly if it wasn't for Him above, not only this camp wouldn't turn out to be a success, but this camp wouldn't even had taken place!

It is such a joy to see the youths applying the lessons that they've learnt in their daily life. Please continue to uphold these youths in prayers

Note from the youth president:

I'd like to thank the camp organizers for contributing to the success of this camp. Without the help and support from you, the camp wouldn't have taken place. Not only have you guys lighten my load, but each of you were a tremendous blessing to me throughout the period of putting this project together.

To all camp participants, I hope that you all had a blast there at Malacca! (Well, I did enjoy myself a lot, and I wish that the 4 days didn't pass by so quickly.) All 26 of you have added colours to my life and I cannot express how delighted I am to meet some of you for the first time and to get to know more of each and everyone of you. I pray that we all will continue to shine for Jesus! Remember that we are here for a purpose, and that purpose is to make a difference.

To all who have contributed in one way or another, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your prayers, your support, your time and financial contribution have done a great deal.

Praise the Lord for a wonderful camp the young people had in Malacca...They all had a great fellowship and time with the Lord. Most importantly we thank God for the new converts in the camp. Good job committee!

Introduction to Dr.Billy Graham

We are introducing great evangelists/speakers in our series of "Great Men/Women of God"
We bring you one of the greatest ever preacher who is still alive at 90 years old, Dr. Billy Graham.

According to his official bio, evangelist Billy Graham took the Bible literally where it says in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." Graham has preached the Gospel to more people in live audiences than anyone else in history -- nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries and territories. Hundreds of millions more have been reached through television, video, film and webcasts.

Graham has written some 25 books, and his counsel has been sought by multiple U.S. presidents. His appeal in both the secular and religious arenas is evidenced by the wide range of groups that have honored him. Graham was the first major evangelist to speak behind the Iron Curtain, calling for peace in countries throughout Eastern Europe and in the Soviet Union -- while during the Apartheid era he refused to visit South Africa until its government allowed for desegregated audiences. Through the praise and criticism of a public life that has nearly spanned a century, he has held fast to his conviction that faith in Jesus is the only path to salvation.

"My one purpose in life is to help people find a personal relationship with God, which, I believe, comes through knowing Christ."Billy Graham
